The Pi 4 Yocto image is currently building. Once ready, it will be available at:
smartyhome-yocto-v2.0.0-raspberrypi4-64.wic.gz
Flash to SD Card
1. Use Raspberry Pi Imager (Recommended)
Download from raspberrypi.com/software. Select "Use custom image" → choose the .wic.gz file → select SD card → Write.
2. Or use Etcher
Same as x86 — Etcher → select image → select SD card → Flash.
3. Or use dd (Linux/macOS)

Official 7" Touch Display
- Connect the DSI ribbon cable from display to Pi
- Connect GPIO pins for power (red/black wires)
- No drivers needed — works out of the box
HDMI Touch Display
- Connect HDMI cable
- Connect USB cable for touch input
- Touch shows up as standard HID device
First Boot
- Insert SD card, connect display, power on
- Pi boots directly into SmartyHome OS kiosk mode
- Dashboard loads at
http://localhost:8000 - Follow the setup wizard for WiFi, device name, cloud linking
Wall Mounting
- Use official Pi 4 case with VESA mount
- Or 3D print a custom wall bracket
- Power via PoE HAT (no separate power cable needed)
