Supported Tablets (x86_64)
SmartyHome OS requires Intel x86_64 architecture because it runs Docker containers + Chromium kiosk. ARM tablets (including most Android tablets) are not supported.

⚠ Important: Raspberry Pi boards use ARM architecture. SmartyHome OS for Pi requires a separate ARM64 build. The x86_64 image will not boot on Raspberry Pi. Contact us for Pi builds.

Storage Requirements
The installed OS uses approximately:
- Base system: ~4 GB (Debian + kernel + drivers)
- Docker + containers: ~2 GB
- Chromium + cache: ~1 GB
- Free space for OTA: ~2 GB minimum
Total: ~9 GB minimum, 16+ GB recommended. A 32GB tablet provides plenty of room for logs, cached data, and OTA update staging.
